"Rolling Attic" allows my clients to use the angled eaves of their bedroom under the roof for easy clothes storage. The shoe-shelf extends all along the narrow space right at the back.In front of it are two shelf units on wheels rolling sideways and hanging rails above. All made from locally reclaimed roof timbers (old pine).
Made from locally reclaimed joists. Can be made to almost any size you want. shelves are fixed. Panels in side wall vary. shelf edge treatments can vary (see edge treatments)
To reclaim local - oak furniture parts in this case - and then re-use the offcuts of this work again // that is extreme recycling. The results are very satisfying.
Drawer Fronts for base units. The look changes from I (dont) KEA to time-worn reclaimed oak that can last for 100 years min.
The most ecologically sound furniture in your home.
Roofing boards reclaimed from an ammunition factory were used to make these doors. Definitely a one-off but so is all my reclaimed furniture.
The Humble repair, still one of my favourite jobs in woodwork : to give new life to good old furniture. (I don't do french polishing)
Birch Plywood Window seat daybed
